It’s World Cup time!!! Yes I love football, or as we call it in Canada, soccer, and its finally the 2022 Qatar World Cup!
Now the world cup doesn’t come around very often, in the past we have thrown parties, and bbq’s in England, it’s a big, big deal! Now I, of course support England as I still have hope that “footballs coming home”. But I do have a soft spot for Canada, of course and I’m glad they have made it as far as they have.
Now I know lots of you will be doing something special for your teams games, and if you love finger food everyone can dig into then you must try these simple, yet amazingly tasty Nachos, and I will not take credit for these, I ate them but my husband made them! Let’s just say they were generous, but of course being the privileged wife I am I can share the recipe with you guys.. my advice is to judge the ingredients by the amount of people eating them!
Ingredients:
1-2 bags of nacho chips of choice, we use Tostido rounds
1 bag of cheese
1 tomato diced
1 onion diced
1 green pepper diced
1 jalapeño diced finely (optional)
2-4 packages of Precooked chicken
Salsa, sour cream and guacamole
Directions:
Yes these are the laziest Nachos, simply layer your chips on a baking tray or pizza tray, add a small amount of all of the toppings, minus the last three, add another layer of chips and more toppings, build your layers until you run out of ingredients topping off your pile with cheese
Put the tray into a preheated oven at 375° for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted
Add the guacamole, salsa and sour cream into individual bowls for dipping and enjoy!
