What a book! So I just finished reading this book and my God was it good.
Now I don’t usually read crime books as they tend to play on my mind but this story by Stacy Green was told so well that I enjoyed every single chapter!
From the minute you read the prologue you are hooked! Told from the point of view of FBI Agent Nicole Walsh, investigating a hometown, small town, murder of two teenage girls the emotions are all there.
As the story develops there are some really strong scenes that make you feel every emotion from the characters. There is romance, anger sadness, vengence; everything portrayed is written so well. The story is easy to follow and does not jump all over the place so everytime you pick up this book you know exactly where you left off.
Now I have a degree in Social Science with a focus on criminology, and to unravel the case in my mind was not as easy as you would think, although as the story unfolded I found it easy to know who the killer was but I will not spoil that for you!
There are five further books in this series and let me tell you I cannot wait to get stuck into the rest and see where Agent Walsh goes next!
Until then you will have to read this book for yourself as I am not going to spoil it for you!
If you have Kindle Unlimited you can read this book for free and it is worth it!
